The Problem
The Problem
With the new state of the work environment due to COVID-19, remote work has become much more frequent and important. It has become an increasingly important time for remote workers to find local shops like coffee shops to conduct meetings or work from.

The Five Day Sprint Challenge
The Five Day Sprint Challenge
The main goal for the design sprint would be to come up with a solution that could support remote workers with finding places like coffee shops or other work spaces to work at or conduct meetings in. This was the outline of the design sprint:

Understanding the research
It was important to understand the feedback from the research interviews regarding the participants experiences on finding places to work at as a remote worker.

The main goal of this interview was to understand how the participant currently looks for coffee shops to work at, and figure out what works in that process, and the pain points that may occur.

Taking the standout features and mapping out the solution
With all the screens and features created, the next step was to prioritize the features important for searching for coffee shops to work at and these were the four screens that helped visualize the red routes for the app.

Designing the wireframes
It became evident that the most important feature of the app would be to search via maps and apply filters specific to the users needs for their meetings. This process was the basis for the wireframes created.

Testing the prototype with users
The testing was the most important aspect on figuring out if the design works. This process was extremely useful and provided many feedbacks and improvements that can be made to better the design for the users.

Future Roadmap
Following the design sprint methodology, It would be great to conduct another round in order to improve the design further more. This would allow further implementation of the user testing feedback and refining the available features.
